Find the real source of the repetition
A question repeats because the answer is hard to find, the member does not know it exists, or the answer keeps changing. Copying the answer into chat again does not fix any of those causes.
Review the last few weeks of questions and label each one: missing answer, buried answer, unclear answer, timing issue or private request. The labels tell you which fix to apply.
Fix onboarding first
New members ask the most questions because they have no context. Add a short welcome message that points to the FAQ, the support channel and the rules. Keep it to the few links that matter.
If your server uses a verification step, explain what happens after verification. A member who knows the next step is less likely to ask a moderator.
Make the answer findable
Pin the canonical answer, give the channel a descriptive name, and use the words members search for. If the answer lives in a long document, put the short version in Discord and link to the full version.
Do not rely on a single pinned message that scrolls away. A read-only FAQ channel with one topic per message is easier to maintain and easier to automate.
Add an answer layer
A support bot can answer the repeatable questions in the place members already ask. Configure it to answer in support channels, reply on mention or trigger words in general channels, and stay quiet where automated replies would be noise.
Keep a handoff path for questions the bot cannot answer. The goal is not to remove people from support; it is to stop making people copy the same answer all day.
Review the pattern monthly
Look for questions that still repeat after the FAQ and bot are live. They usually reveal a gap: a new plan, a changed rule, a broken link or a question that needs a human.
Update the source, not just the bot's reply. If the FAQ is wrong, every future answer will be wrong too.
